WinVero is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Portions of this website constitute ATTORNEY ADVERTISING. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. THE USE OF OR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
1. Not a Law Firm; No Legal Advice
WinVero is a technology company, not a law firm. WinVero does not practice law and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. WinVero provides general information, self-help tools, document organization, AI-generated claim estimates, and administrative support that you use to handle your own pre-lawsuit insurance claim. Nothing on this website or in the Services is a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who has reviewed the specific facts of your situation. WinVero is not a public adjuster and does not charge you a fee for its Services.
2. No Attorney-Client, Fiduciary, or Agency Relationship
Using WinVero does not create an attorney-client relationship with WinVero, with any affiliated law firm, or with any other attorney. An attorney-client relationship arises only when you sign a written engagement agreement with a licensed attorney. Communications with WinVero are not protected by attorney-client privilege. WinVero is not your agent or fiduciary and owes you no fiduciary duties; the relationship between you and WinVero is that of a user and a technology-service provider under WinVero's Terms of Service.
By using the Services you acknowledge that you are not receiving legal advice from a licensed attorney through WinVero and that you are representing yourself in your insurance claim unless and until you retain a lawyer.
3. Artificial Intelligence
The WinVero chat is an automated AI system, not a human. WinVero's estimates, document readings, drafts, and summaries are generated by artificial intelligence, which can produce errors, omissions, and inaccuracies. WinVero takes reasonable steps to reduce errors, including attorney oversight of platform standards, but no AI system is infallible. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before acting on it. Do not rely on any estimate, draft, or summary as the sole basis for any decision.
4. Estimates and Outcome Statements
A WinVero settlement estimate is a data-based range derived from past claims with similar characteristics. It is not a legal opinion, appraisal, promise, or prediction of what any insurer will offer or pay, and it may be limited by policy limits and other facts WinVero may not know. Settlement amounts, percentages, and other results shown on this website or in the Services describe past cases or aggregate data, are provided for information only, are not typical of any particular case, and are not advice about what you should do. Technology-assisted self-help differs from representation by a licensed attorney and carries limitations that representation does not.
5. Risk Disclosure
Handling a personal injury claim yourself carries risks, including missing a statute of limitations or government-claim deadline that permanently bars your claim; accepting a settlement that undervalues your injuries; signing a release that extinguishes all claims from the accident, including unknown future claims under California Civil Code § 1542, even if your injuries worsen; liens that reduce your net recovery or that a release may make you personally responsible for; and discovering that your case requires litigation that WinVero is not designed to provide. These risks exist whether you use WinVero, hire a lawyer, or proceed alone. WinVero flags material risks it recognizes but cannot anticipate every risk. You are responsible for your own decisions.
6. Before You Sign a Settlement Release
A settlement release is a binding contract with the insurer, signed through the insurer's own process. WinVero may describe what a release contains but will not tell you whether its terms are standard, fair, or acceptable, or whether to sign; those are legal questions. WinVero strongly recommends that a licensed attorney review any release before you sign it, and a free attorney review is offered at that step. By settling without legal advice, you acknowledge that you are acting on your own behalf and knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks of settling without professional legal representation.
7. Statute of Limitations Warning
In California, a lawsuit for personal injury must generally be filed within two years of the date of injury, and a claim against a government entity generally must be presented within six months. Exceptions apply. Failing to act before the applicable deadline will permanently bar your claim regardless of its merits. Deadline information and reminders in the Services are general information only; WinVero does not advise you about which deadline applies to you and is not responsible for monitoring or meeting any deadline. Consult a licensed attorney.
8. Attorney Advertising, Referrals, and Financial Relationships
Portions of this website and the Services describe or promote the services of affiliated and other licensed California law firms and constitute attorney advertising under the California Rules of Professional Conduct. The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision that should not be based solely on advertising.
Financial relationship. WinVero is affiliated with a licensed California law firm that provides legal oversight of the WinVero platform. WinVero may receive a referral fee from a law firm when you engage that firm through the Services, as permitted by applicable rules of professional conduct. Such fees are paid by the firm, not by you. WinVero receives no compensation from medical providers or insurers. You are never required to hire any lawyer or use any provider and may choose any attorney or provider you wish.
Attorneys shown in the Services are licensed in California. Any firm that represents you will sign a written engagement agreement with you. Statements in lawyer profiles, including experience and past results, are the firms' own representations; past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
9. Medical Care
Information about medical treatment in the Services is general information; it is not medical advice. Any providers WinVero displays are shown for your convenience; WinVero does not recommend a provider or treatment and is not responsible for the care you receive. Some providers treat on a lien basis, meaning they are paid from your settlement. Decisions about your medical care should be made with your own physician.
10. Professional Supervision
A licensed California law firm oversees the standards and practices governing the legal information WinVero provides. This oversight does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and any supervising attorney. You are free to tell courts, insurers, or anyone else that you used WinVero and what assistance you received.
11. Testimonials
Testimonials and reviews on this website are from actual WinVero users and are not paid for. Results described may not be typical; your results will depend on the facts of your claim. WinVero will not use your name or identifying details in any testimonial without your separate written consent.
12. Privacy and Confidentiality Notice
Information you submit through the Services is transmitted over the Internet. WinVero uses reasonable safeguards, described in the Privacy Policy, but cannot guarantee the security of Internet transmissions. Because WinVero is not a law firm, no attorney-client privilege attaches to your communications with WinVero.
13. Third-Party Content
The Services may display information provided by insurers, law firms, medical providers, government agencies, and other third parties, and may link to third-party websites. WinVero does not control and is not responsible for third-party content or practices.
